Waiting for the perfect moment
We’ve all had the feeling of delaying a bit longer for the stars to align and making that important phone call, sending that message, expressing your feelings, or doing something unusual.
Sometimes procrastinating feels so “right”, and we convince ourselves why is a very good idea to wait to be “ready”.
But it turns out, that the “ being perfectly ready” moment never actually arrives. We are always faced with imperfect scenarios and situations, and not 100% sure that we are making the right choice.
Alternatively it feels so pleasant to wait and hang on for more options or signals to arrive in our hands— and feel the reassurance that we are doing the “right” thing.
Now, I’m so convinced about the cost of inaction. Making bad or good decisions is ultimately better long term versus making no decisions at all. And waiting for that perfect moment to arrive. All we have is the present moment. THAT'S IT! LIFE IS NOW
What have you decided today?
