Can you focus for a second?

There is just a huge amount of content around keeping, gaining, attaining, and not losing our “focus”. Especially now with smartphones, social media, and the rest is impossible to focus on one thing at a time, so they say.

But I think most advice is useless. And I am not trying to give you advice here. I just know that LESS is more. And this also goes with our mental focus and attention. I am always trying and eliminate the unnecessary stuff, and just pick a few meaningful goals and activities. Eliminate, eliminate and draw your attention to a few meaningful things.

I just own 45 items in total. Nothing more! I can pack all my stuff in less than 10 minutes.

So instead and working so fucken hard on bringing your attention to the “important” stuff. Is just way easier and clear up the table from the useless stuff first. Second — pick a FEW important and meaningful things to work on. That’s it!

The table will seem empty at first, but that is a good thing. You won't be missing out. On the contrary. There will be less noise, and It will be way more difficult and get distracted by useless things because they are not even part of your life anymore.

Did you clear the table today?
